Free the Art Contest

What is the Libera L'Arte "Roberto Manini Award" competition

Libera L’Arte was established as a biennial painting art competition open to all Technical Studios of Engineers – Architects – Surveyors across the entire national territory, in existence since 2005 on the initiative of Roberto Manini, son of the founder Arnaldo.

Professionals who have collaborated in the past with Manini Prefabbricati, those who are doing so now, and those who may do so in the future are invited to participate… starting to get to know us through a shared passion: art, in its various forms of expression.

In the philosophy of Manini Prefabbricati, aesthetic sense, beauty, and art are fundamental values very familiar to those who, daily, experience the emotion of an architectural project. From this year, we want to enrich the initiative with additional meanings.

Free the Art - 2023 Edition

The award ceremony for the creative artistic contest Free the Art 2023 took place on December 2nd.

The art gallery, specially set up at the Manini Prefabbricati headquarters with countless works entered in the competition, did not disappoint the expectations of the large audience of participants.

Daniele Longobardi won the photography section with “Water is Life”, with honorable mentions for Augusto Buzzeo with “Butterfly Kiss” and Ciro Iacobelli with “Mirror in Drops”.

The victory in the Sculpture section went to David Cesaria with “Tears Waterfall”, with an honorable mention for Francesco Rondoni with “Dreamlike Spring”.

For painting, honorable mentions went to “Plastic Water” by Angela Federici and “Sailing” by Roberta Caronni, with the victory going to Alberto Fiorenzato and his painting “Like the Storm, When It Arrived It Invaded Me”.

A special thanks to Prof. Alberto D’Atanasio for his kind collaboration, to all the architects, engineers, and surveyors who participated in the initiative, and to the Manini family.

Theme

#SISTERWATER was the “inspiring theme” of this edition. Paintings, sculptures, photographs, real or fantastic examples, in nature or the result of a skillful and “sustainable” human intervention.

Digital

The works admitted to the Competition were received by Manini Prefabbricati in digital form through upload in the dedicated area of the website, digitally generated and transformed into digital files.

Interconnected

The works were organized into 3 competition sections: painting, sculpture, photography, and a winner was announced for each section.
