Manini Prefabbricati SpA Takes Center Stage at Confindustria in Genoa with the Manini Connect Infrastructure Monitoring System, at a Crucial Moment for the Reconstruction of the Morandi Bridge
Eng. Salvatore Romano was invited as a speaker at Coffeetech, a technological in-depth format promoted and organized by the industrialists’ association of the Ligurian capital
The award-winning predictive technology of Manini Connect was once again at the center of the debate during Coffeetech, an important series of meetings on emerging technologies in the industrial sector, promoted by Confindustria Genoa.
Last Friday, March 22, the head of the Manini Service Division, Eng. Salvatore Romano, was a guest at the Council Hall of Confindustria in the Ligurian capital, invited as a speaker to present to the associates the history and characteristics of the revolutionary monitoring technology designed and patented by Manini Prefabbricati.
The meeting titled “The Connect Predictive System – 4.0 Monitoring that Revolutionizes Industrial Prefabrication”, also streamed live on Confindustria’s social networks, represented a further step forward in spreading the new paradigm for managing prefabricated structures intended for industrial use.
Manini Connect, already winner of multiple awards for technological innovation, represents the turning point for an industry traditionally reluctant to evolve towards IoT.
A change of course that has shifted the focus from just new construction to an activity combined with the redevelopment and management of prefabricated structures, including existing ones, thanks to the possibility of integrating Manini Connect with pre-existing structures.
“Thanks to Manini Connect, we have the ability to valorize the data we obtain in real-time from prefabricated structures, through our detection systems,” Romano stated during Coffeetech. “We have provided the ability to safely deal with critical events, minimizing production downtime without jeopardizing the safety of those inside prefabricated buildings. Now, even the release of a certificate of occupancy requires minimal time.”
“Our first Coffeetech dates back to just over two years ago,” observes Sandro Scarrone, Deputy Vice President of Confindustria Genoa with responsibility for High Technology. “Since then, we have listened to the presentation of almost a hundred innovative projects, products, and services that have aroused keen interest from an audience of entrepreneurs, technicians, and researchers on high-tech topics. The appointment with Manini Prefabbricati did not disappoint expectations. We hope that the Connect predictive system will have the success and diffusion it deserves.”
