Jawfix\u00ae<\/strong> is an axial dissipator that secures the connection between beams and columns. It is a patented device that Manini Prefabbricati certified according to UNI EN 15129 standards in 2022<\/strong>.<\/span> Its function is to prevent out-of-plane overturning of beams and their slipping from the columns on which they rest.<\/p>\n

The Jawfix\u00ae system is designed with over-strength relative to the column capacity<\/strong>, thus following the “hierarchy of resistances” principle.<\/p>\n

It can withstand seismic actions both in case of sliding and in its absence due to friction forces. The Jawfix\u00ae running-in machine used by Manini Service<\/strong> technicians is identical to the one used in the Eucentre laboratories that validated its Certification. <\/p>\n

The device is installed using Hilti<\/strong> <\/em>anchors, characterized by high performance in terms of mechanical resistance.<\/p>\n
