Manini Prefabbricati has joined the National Foresta Italia Campaign promoted by Rete Clima in partnership with Coldiretti and PEFC and sponsored by MITE (Ministry of Ecological Transition) and MIPAAF (Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies).

Manini Prefabbricati’s partnership with Rete Clima began with offsetting the site’s CO2 emissions, compensated through the purchase of carbon credits to support an international environmental protection project, certified according to the VCS–Verra standard and continues with the participation in this important reforestation project of forest areas in Italy devastated by natural disasters.

Specifically, Manini Prefabbricati participates in Rete Clima’s reforestation activity at the Madonie Park in Sicily, with the planting of 100 trees and shrubs: in the intervention area, affected by significant fires in the summer of 2021, repopulation of native species (primarily beech and Mediterranean scrub) will be carried out, along with post-planting care until maturity.

Firmly believing that activities to combat climate change should also be undertaken by companies with concrete and continuous actions, Manini has decided to integrate tree planting into its business model: for each new contract, Manini will “gift” 10 new plants, including trees and shrubs, to its diffuse forest, which will be cared for until they are fully established.
