LEM SRL – Construction of a New Floor and Seismic Improvement Intervention

Once again, Lem Srl has entrusted the Manini Service team with securing their properties. This time we intervened in Bucine (AR), at the company’s “historic” headquarters.

The property, a multi-story prefabricated building, was hit by a fire, which rendered it unusable due to the severe degradation of the mechanical performance of the structure’s load-bearing elements and the demolition of the intermediate floors.

The Manini Service Team designed and implemented interventions capable of revitalizing the company’s “historic” headquarters, thus avoiding the unfortunate demolition. Specifically, the interventions carried out were:

• Construction of the new intermediate floor with a lightweight steel-concrete structure, a construction type that allowed for limiting the weight on the existing degraded elements;
• Implementation of systems for the seismic improvement of the entire building, which guaranteed the building a capacity against seismic actions comparable to that of a newly constructed building

Operating with meticulous planning and the utmost professionalism, always supporting the client, we completed the entire intervention within the predetermined timeframe agreed upon with the client before the start of the work.
