Ottomeccanica 4.0 Srl – Roof Renovation and Installation of a New Photovoltaic System

The images of our construction site in Pontedera (PI) showcase the result of the renovation carried out by Manini Service at the facility of Ottomeccanica 4.0 Srl, a precision mechanical workshop specializing in small-scale production.

The Manini Service team successfully designed and implemented the roof renovation project for a building from the late 90s, which included roof replacement and the installation of a new photovoltaic system. Our team’s high level of expertise allowed us to guide the client through the entire process, from consultation to implementation, becoming their single point of contact.

A new roofing system was implemented, meeting all the objectives set by the client and in full compliance with all legal regulations:

• Replacement of the curved roof tiles with a severely degraded ecological fiber cement extrados with new insulated panels to improve energy performance;
• New layout of flush skylights that allowed for better natural lighting while maximizing the power of the new photovoltaic system;
• New waterproofing layer for the wing-shaped roof beams, which also had a severely degraded ecological fiber cement extrados, using latest-generation bituminous membranes;
• Installation of a new photovoltaic system with a power output of approximately 56 kWp, using high-end components.

Through careful supply planning and rigorous coordination of the workforce, the entire project was completed in about 1 month, fully respecting the previously agreed-upon timeframe with our client.
