Jawfix® is an axial dissipator that secures the connection between beams and columns. It is a patented device that Manini Prefabbricati certified according to UNI EN 15129 standards in 2022. Its function is to prevent out-of-plane overturning of beams and their slipping from the columns on which they rest.

WHAT IS JAWFIX®
IN SUMMARY
The Jawfix® system is designed with over-strength relative to the column capacity, thus following the “hierarchy of resistances” principle.
It can withstand seismic actions both in case of sliding and in its absence due to friction forces. The Jawfix® running-in machine used by Manini Service technicians is identical to the one used in the Eucentre laboratories that validated its Certification.
The device is installed using Hilti anchors, characterized by high performance in terms of mechanical resistance.
