Manini Prefabbricati and the Municipal Administration Bring Investments and Jobs
As an example of a win-win synergistic strategy, the leading company in industrial prefabrication and the Municipality of Assisi have managed to conclude two key real estate deals with TTI Flavours and Saima S.p.A., which will create about a hundred jobs in the city of St. Francis in the immediate future
Manini Prefabbricati, even in a year as complicated as 2020, managed to conclude two very important real estate deals in the Assisi area: the first involves an American chemical giant, TTI Flavours, and the second an important Italian confectionery distribution company, Saima SpA.
TTI Flavours, an American company from the East Coast, is a world leader in the development of tobacco flavors for electronic cigarettes. The Umbrian facility will have a size of 3,000 square meters and will employ dozens of specialized personnel; the planned investment exceeds 10 million dollars.
Saima SpA, in addition to the distribution of confectionery products, will be involved in training pastry chefs, bakers, and master chocolatiers through the creation of the Academy within the structure. Inside the 5,500 square meter building, in fact, in addition to refrigeration and storage areas, kitchen areas and conference rooms are planned.
Despite the understandable difficulties given by the historical moment, the activity of Manini Prefabbricati SpA, strong in its commercial team, has never stopped. Instead, with enthusiasm and determination, we have worked tirelessly, united, to build job opportunities for both the company itself and the territory affected by the investments.
It wasn’t easy, but commitment and perseverance have paid off.
Both companies, although so different in their sector and corporate culture, have grasped the importance and uniqueness of establishing their own headquarters in Assisi, considering it an added value and a significant boost for the affirmation of their brand, even beyond national borders.
Assisi, which has always been a tourist-oriented center, has thus discovered that it is also the subject of interest for industrial investments of national and international caliber.
The municipal administration, led by Mayor Eng. Stefania Proietti, who is strongly focusing on relaunching and further enhancing the industrial value of the territory, has certainly been instrumental in initiating this process.
In this moment of crisis and deep uncertainty, timing, the ability to seize opportunities at the right moment, and above all, the guarantee of respecting implementation and delivery times are fundamental and essential values.
From this point of view, the Mayor personally committed to achieving these objectives, to the pleasant surprise of the investors themselves, who are not always accustomed to this type of effective collaboration from institutions.
“Since the beginning of the mandate – said the mayor – we have always encouraged the establishment of productive activities in our territory, which is why we greet with great satisfaction the initiatives completed by Manini Prefabbricati that have attracted important companies. These are operations that will facilitate the industrial development of our city and, above all, will bring employment, about 100 new jobs, and, in a historical moment like this, of great economic difficulty due to the pandemic, those who create jobs are more than welcome in Assisi.”
The cooperation between private companies and public administrations becomes crucial in these circumstances: in particular, all the managers and operators of the Municipality of Assisi have worked to ensure that everything could proceed according to the established programs.
This unity of purpose and respect for reciprocal roles has led to fruitful and exemplary collaboration and tangible results.
