Manini Prefabbricati and Foresta Italia Contribute to the Reforestation of Madonie Park
Another Concrete Commitment Project by MANINI PREFABBRICATI for Environmental Sustainability Begins: Reforestation of Areas in Italy Affected by Natural Disasters

This is the vision of MANINI PREFABBRICATI’s CEO Manuel Boccolini, within which the company’s adherence to the FORESTA ITALIA National Campaign promoted by Rete Clima in partnership with Coldiretti and PEFC and sponsored by MITE (Ministry of Ecological Transition) and MIPAAF (Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies) is situated.
MANINI PREFABBRICATI’s partnership with Rete Clima was historically initiated with the CO2Web project, which involved analyzing the emissions generated by the group’s website hosting in 2021: the emissions were then offset through the purchase of carbon credits supporting an international environmental protection project, certified according to the VCS–Verra standard, to generate an equal positive environmental impact (carbon offsetting).
The carbon neutrality of the site was finally attested with the issuance of a Green label “CO2 emission zero® website”.
In order to contribute to a high-value project in Italy, MANINI PREFABBRICATI is now participating in Rete Clima’s reforestation activity at Madonie Park in Sicily, with the planting of 100 trees and shrubs: in the intervention area, affected by significant fires in the summer of 2021, a repopulation of native species (primarily beech and Mediterranean scrub) will be carried out, along with post-planting care until maturity.

Strongly convinced that activities to combat climate change must be taken on by organizations with concrete and continuous actions, MANINI PREFABBRICATI has decided to integrate tree planting into its business model: for each new order, MANINI will ‘gift’ 10 new plants, including trees and shrubs, to its diffuse forest, which will be cared for until they are fully established.
