Horacio Pagani Museum: The Supercar Atelier by Manini Group Makes Its Debut
The Group, a leader in the construction of industrial prefabs, was represented at the premiere of the prestigious car manufacturer’s new headquarters, after participating in its construction
A delegation from the Manini Group, among the key players in the construction of the Horacio Pagani Museum, participated in the private inauguration of the building on December 13, three days ahead of the official opening on December 16.
The Manini Group is an integral part of this complex project, which combines technical expertise, materials, technology, and design, giving life to a unique architectural structure.
The Manini Group was represented at the event by Arnaldo Manini, President of Manini Prefabbricati SpA, Mario Carminati, Area Manager of MC-Manini Prefabbricati SpA, and Mauro Nava, Board Member of MC Prefabbricati SpA. Joining them was Alberto Santarelli, the Sales Manager of Manini Prefabbricati SpA, who 25 years ago signed the first agreement with Horacio Pagani for the construction of a prefabricated building.
The relationship between Horacio Pagani and Manini Prefabbricati SpA is solid and long-lasting. A bond made of successes and mutual trust, which led the Argentine entrepreneur to choose the Umbrian company once again to create a unique structure of its kind.
The Manini Group, specifically, was responsible for providing the prefabricated elements, the frames for the roof and external infill walls, and also carried out waterproofing. The Group’s considerable know-how allowed for the adoption of exclusive solutions such as the patented shed roof system Ondal.
This option was chosen by Pagani as it encompasses a set of extremely functional characteristics, the result of continuous investments in research and development. It is a shed designed to meet high standards in terms of stability, durability, insulation, lighting, and fire resistance. These properties are essential to fully satisfy the construction needs required for the realization of this building.
“Our history is based on an essential balance: that between expertise and reliability. For this reason, it is an honor to continue being a partner of a legendary company like Pagani. The products and technologies of the Manini Group are state-of-the-art. After all, excellence is the fundamental requirement to further extend our sphere of interest to contaminations with different sectors. Worlds such as design and art are showing increasing attention to what the Manini Group is capable of creating. It is no coincidence that we are here today,” explains Arnaldo Manini, President of Manini Prefabbricati SpA.
Horacio Pagani personally conceived the architectural solution, entrusting its realization to his sons Christopher and Leonardo. Unique, like all creations born from Pagani’s inventiveness, the structure represents an ideal journey that unites the history of the car manufacturer with its present. For this reason, the museum integrates with the production area: visitors will have the opportunity to witness the assembly of supercars, being able to admire, within the same building, the custom-made cars that have created the Pagani legend, now among the icons of world motorsport.
