Free the Art Contest

What is the Libera L'Arte "Roberto Manini Award" competition

Libera L’Arte was established as a biennial painting art competition open to all Technical Studios of Engineers – Architects – Surveyors across the entire national territory, in existence since 2005 on the initiative of Roberto Manini, son of the founder Arnaldo.

Professionals who have collaborated in the past with Manini Prefabbricati, those who are doing so now, and those who may do so in the future are invited to participate… starting to get to know us through a shared passion: art, in its various forms of expression.

In the Manini Prefabbricati philosophy, aesthetic sense, beauty, and art are foundational values very familiar to those who experience the excitement of an architectural project on a daily basis.

FREE THE ART - 2025 EDITION #LIGHT

The 2025 EDITION of this now historic MANINI artistic CONTEST is at the starting blocks.

Following the characteristics of the last Edition, this CONTEST is also THEMATIC, DIGITAL, and open to 3 competition Sessions: PAINTING – SCULPTURE – PHOTOGRAPHY.

The THEME chosen for this tenth Edition of Libera l’Arte is LIGHT, in all its possible expressions and manifestations. Light is one of the essential elements of human existence, a crucial element for artistic expression, captured in timeless masterpieces, but also a key factor in architectural design, and for this reason, it is particularly dear to MANINI.

Buildings that know how to welcome LIGHT improve the quality of life of the people who live and/or work in them, and with this Edition of our Contest, we want to pay tribute to it through your contributions.

Carefully read the RULES, fill out the REGISTRATION FORM to join the initiative, and upload your work between August 28 and October 31.

Theme

#LIGHT is the “inspiring theme” of this edition. Paintings, sculptures, photographs, real or imaginary examples, in nature or resulting from skillful human intervention, even in the form of digital illustration. Let yourself be flooded with light and capture it in your work.

Digital

The eligible works for the Competition must be submitted to Manini Prefabbricati in digital form through the “upload in the” dedicated area of the website, digitally generated and transformed into digital files. (See technical specifications of the files and timelines in the Rules).

Interconnected

The works will be organized into 3 competition sections: painting, sculpture, photography, and a winner will be announced for each section.
