What is the Libera L'Arte "Roberto Manini Award" competition

Libera L’Arte was established as a biennial painting art competition open to all Technical Studios of Engineers – Architects – Surveyors across the entire national territory, in existence since 2005 on the initiative of Roberto Manini, son of the founder Arnaldo.

Professionals who have collaborated in the past with Manini Prefabbricati, those who are doing so now, and those who may do so in the future are invited to participate… starting to get to know us through a shared passion: art, in its various forms of expression.

In the philosophy of Manini Prefabbricati, aesthetic sense, beauty, and art are fundamental values very familiar to those who, daily, experience the emotion of an architectural project. From this year, we want to enrich the initiative with additional meanings.

Libera l'Arte evolves

After the forced STOP related to the pandemic, Libera l’Arte returns in this ninth edition, 2023, renewed in form and mode of expression.

At this particular historical moment, for Manini it is important to associate the concept of beauty with that of sustainability for the environment, people, and creations. For this special edition of Libera l’Arte, we choose an inspiring theme: water, a primary and not unlimited resource to which we owe great respect and gratitude, as taught by Assisi’s most important “testimonial”.

Theme

#SISTERWATER is the “inspiring theme” of this edition in which we ask participants to develop the theme “water in the form of paintings, sculptures, photographs, of real or imaginary examples, in nature or as a result of a skilled and “sustainable” human intervention.

Digital

The works admitted to the Competition must be submitted to Manini Prefabbricati in digital form, as files to be uploaded in the appropriate reserved area on the company website. The images of the works in the competition must be:

  • digitally generated (photographs)
  • transformed into digital files (photographs of paintings, drawings, manual illustrations or sculptures, made in any material)

Interconnected

The works will therefore be organized into 3 competition sections: painting, sculpture, photography and must be uploaded online directly by the participants within the times and methods established by the signed regulations. It will be possible to view in real-time all the works received, and the specific jury appointed by Manini will proceed with the selection and final awarding of the received contributions.
